Favorite Food/
High protein and low sugar is the way to go. I eat raw and clean food as often as possible. As I teach my students, the body is a well-oiled machine. I don’t gum up the gears with junk.

Least Favorite Food/
Anything that contains MSG. It makes my tongue itch and gives me headaches. The stuff is poison.

Favorite Song/
You want me to pick ONE? Sorry, but that’s not happening. I’ll give you my top five.

Terence Trent D’ Arby’s “If You All Get to Heaven.”
Gil Scott-Heron’s “The Revolution Will Not be Televised.”
Maxwell’s “This Woman’s Work.”
Sam Cooke’s “A Change is Gonna Come.”
Nina Simone’s “Four Women.”

Favorite Book/
Maya Angelou’s “And Still I Rise”

Favorite Clothing Brand/
There’s a difference between “brand” and “fashion.” I’m not a corporate billboard. My fashion sense is both eclectic and practical, but my loyalty is to the vibe instead of the designer.

Favorite Cologne/
I wear a blend of essential oils designed to attract what I desire and repel what I don’t. Magical beings need elixir, after all.

Hobbies/
Reading and avoiding drama. I’m also rather politically active when I see a good cause that needs a boost.

Birth Month/
Mind ya business.

Working Stone/
Garnet. They’re grounding and detoxifying.

Astrological Sign/
Don’t start me on that. We don’t have all day for me to dive down that rabbit hole with you. Before you ask, yes, I believe in astrological signs.

Catch Phrase/
“It’s your body. I can’t move it for you.”
